You will receive informative and helpful responses from our volunteer coordinators from the first time you enquire about a program. After being accepted into Projects Abroad, you will receive a personalized website called MyProjectsAbroad, which will take all of the guess work out of preparing for your time overseas. In addition, our Desk Officers will contact you to go over everything, and are always available by phone or email to answer any questions you may have.

Flexibility and Variety

We do not have set start dates. When you apply, you specify your start date, end date, destination and project.

Security

We avoid countries where there is likely to be political or social unrest. We keep in close touch with the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office and with all embassies and high commissions abroad.
