A medical ward in India where volunteers on the Nursing project shadow local nurses

When you first arrive you will be briefed on India's medical system and taught basic physical examination skills. Then throughout the two weeks you will spend time in a nursing college in Jaipur where you will be taught basic nursing skills and receive practical training sessions on nursing procedures. You will even get a chance to join with the local nursing students in one of the village outreach programs in and around the college.

During your placement, you will also have the chance to visit a leprosarium as well as have the opportunity to attend a medical outreach project.

Everywhere you go, the local colleagues you will work with will be eager to teach you about their trade and share their knowledge.

Accommodation on this project is staying in a hotel with other members of the group and Projects Abroad staff.

Over the weekend you will have the chance to experience the real beauty of India and enjoy the breathtaking views provided in a country famed for its temples, waterfalls, and scenic natural environment.
