On the Spanish Language Course in Mexico, you will have 15 hours of tutoring a week with a qualified teacher on a one-on-one basis. You may also be paired with another volunteer who speaks the same level of Spanish. You will learn quickly - especially because you will also have plenty of opportunities to practice your new skills while staying with your Spanish-speaking host family.

The intensive classes are tailored to suit your ability. Whether you are a complete beginner or have been learning Spanish for several years, being surrounded by the language every day will help your skills progress in leaps and bounds. After your lessons and homework, there is plenty of free time for you to explore the local area.

Whether you are after the peace and tranquility of the mountains and archaeological sites, or the adventure of the jungles and beaches, it is easy to get off the beaten track. After completing the language course, Projects Abroad offers numerous opportunities for international volunteer work and internships in Mexico if you want to put your new skills into practice.

Alternatively you can undertake a short 5-hour, 14-hour, or 30-hour course in Spanish. These courses are tailored to your needs and run alongside your main volunteer project. If you are planning on volunteering abroad for twelve weeks or more, you could also complete a 60-hour course alongside your volunteer experience.
