Pre-departure:

  • Guidance and support throughout the booking process

  • Medical and travel insurance

In country

  • Airport transfers – arrival and departure
  • A Projects Abroad coordinator to liaise and support the trip leader
  • Support network of all Projects Abroad in country staff
  • Comprehensive induction & orientation
  • Accommodation
  • Three meals per day
  • Access to medical facilities
  • Transport between accommodation and project
  • 24-hour support from the in country, North American, and UK teams
  • Weekend Excursion

Post - trip

  • Join our Alumni network. Your students will be able to take advantage of our Alumni network’s promotional and social events. It is always extremely useful to have returning volunteers convey their experience so other volunteers can help out

We can offer the following on request:

  • A familiarization visit for the group leader
    • We will arrange a short itinerary to cover all aspects of your trip, including safety, cultural issues, placement visits and activities
    • Advice on how people adapt to life overseas
    • Information regarding what Projects Abroad expect of our volunteers
  • Projects Abroad have a dedicated Travel Team and can give you advice on flights and travel if you wish to organize your own flights
