Language High School Specials for Teens

Projects Abroad High School Special volunteers participate in a language class in a developing country.

Many of the High School Specials offered by Projects Abroad also include a language component for students interested in building their language skills while volunteering. During your summer break, you can choose to study one of three different languages abroad: Arabic, Spanish, or French. This is a wonderful way to grow and develop your skills while giving back to others.

Depending on which program you select, your language classes will be combined with volunteer work either in Medicine, Care, Conservation, or Building. You could find yourself studying Spanish while protecting endangered sea turtles in Mexico, or learning French while caring for children in Morocco!
