Where we are based in Latin America and the Caribbean
We have a number of projects running across Latin America and the Caribbean. You can support children’s education in most of the schools by working in under-resourced schools. Certain countries have specific issues that need to be addressed. Many of our projects work towards solving a need unique to a country.
In Mexico, you can help protect endangered sea turtles and take part in wildlife research. In Ecuador, you can conserve the amazing biodiversity of the Galapagos Islands. You can also learn more about preserving forests and cave ecosystems in Costa Rica.
Meanwhile, in the Caribbean, you can volunteer in Belize or Jamaica. In Jamaica, many communities lack proper sanitation, so we build toilets. In Belize, you can dive in clear blue waters as part of conservation activities around the Belize Barrier Reef, or you can focus on public health issues.
There are many volunteer opportunities in South America. Dig up the past to uncover ancient Incan and Wari ruins in Peru, or help raise awareness of human rights in Argentina.
Whatever you choose to do, you’ll contribute to making a tangible difference in local communities.
