Medicine & Healthcare High School Specials for Teens
Projects Abroad offers high school students the opportunity to get involved in a variety of Medicine & Healthcare projects during the summer. From Africa to Asia, you can spend time observing professional medical staff in hospitals, clinics, and health centres. It is a unique opportunity to learn about medical practices in different countries and to enhance your own medical knowledge. You will witness conditions that are far more advanced than what you would usually see at home.
On our Medicine & Healthcare programs, students gain experience in a wide range of departments during their time abroad. You will shadow doctors and other medical staff throughout their day, who are more than happy to answer any questions you have or discuss different patient’s cases with you. You will also attend a variety of medical workshops and lectures, as well as learning basic skills from local staff.
Medicine & Healthcare High School Specials Projects in:
Experience many aspects of professional medicine interning in hospitals in Cordoba, Argentina, and observing a variety of procedures. You also have the chance to learn and practice Spanish with a qualified language teacher.
As a teen volunteer, you will be based in Cochabamba where you will observe doctors in hospitals and health centres and participate in worthwhile outreach work, medical workshops, and Spanish lessons.
Observe professional doctors in various hospital departments and take part in medical outreaches in a rural community in Cochabamba, and receive Spanish lessons.
