Monthly Updates from 2014

TARICAYA RESEARCH CENTRE: MONTHLY UPDATE –NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2014

As 2014 comes to a close it is time to reflect on some great progress on our pioneering conservation project deep in the Amazon rainforest. But before I look back on all the successes of the year, the last couple of months have been outstanding in their own right.

TARICAYA RESEARCH CENTRE: MONTHLY UPDATE –SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2014

What a great report I can bring you all this month. Our baby turtles have started hatching, we have successfully released our fourth group of spider monkeys, the capuchin monkeys are entering their final pre-release phase and our biodiversity studies continue to amaze and produce surprises.

TARICAYA RESEARCH CENTRE: MONTHLY UPDATE –JULY/AUGUST 2014

What a busy summer we have had this year. Once again the lodge was packed to capacity for several weeks and with over 40 volunteers on site we were able to get huge amounts of work done.

TARICAYA RESEARCH CENTRE: MONTHLY UPDATE –MAY/JUNE 2014

The last few weeks at Taricaya have been busy as usual and with the floods a distant memory we have been able to push on in many of our projects and the results have been very rewarding.

TARICAYA RESEARCH CENTRE: MONTHLY UPDATE MARCH / APRIL 2014

It seems just a few days ago that I was writing my latest from the jungles of Amazonian Peru but two months have just flown by and it is time to give you all the latest from Taricaya and our recovery from the disastrous floods of February this year.

TARICAYA RESEARCH CENTRE: MONTHLY UPDATE JANUARY / FEBRUARY 2014

My apologies for the delay in getting you the latest news from the Peruvian Amazon but as you will soon discover 2014 has not been the kindest to us over the last few weeks. However before I talk about the freakish storms and torrential rain I would like to start on a great high and a fantastic way to start the New Year….
