A group of volunteers planting trees to aid reforestation

How important is reforestation in mitigating climate change?

The lungs of our planet are being burnt, removed and destroyed. It’s time you started taking a more active role in the negative effects this has on our planet. Join us and help with various reforestation activities like planting trees and offsetting carbon footprints around the world.

As a volunteer, you can assist with the following:

  • Grow and monitor the health of tree and mangrove saplings in a nursery
  • Reforestation of trees and mangroves in forests, coastlines and more
  • Study mahogany and indigenous trees and their positive impact on the environment

If you want to get involved, we recommend our Conservation Project in the Amazon Rainforest.

On this project, you’ll live and work in the heart of the lush rainforest. You’ll also help to conserve this precious ecosystem. As part of your work, you’ll plant and study mahogany trees. These trees absorb plenty of carbon dioxide and they act as a vital habitat for indigenous species.
